The 15th Anniversary International festival of promotion and advertising technologies ProMediaTech, the leading expo event for the industry professionals in EXPO, EVENT and PROMO, MICE, e-commerce and digital marketing in Russia, was held January 25 and 26, 2024 at Crocus Expo. Crocus Expo, one of the largest and the most prospective expo grounds of Russia and Eastern Europe, was the organizer of the event.

The Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs, the Union of Exhibition Contractors SRO, the National Association of Event Organizers and the National Congress Bureau rendered active support to the event.

The event was held under the patronage of the Chamber of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.

The latest developments in the field of business promotion and organization of events were presented in 2024 on the exposition comprising 8 000 sq. m. More than 150 companies from Russia, Italy, Austria, Belgium, UAE, Germany, Turkey and Azerbaijan shared their fresh ideas and innovative solutions in the field of design, construction of exclusive stands and layout of expo spaces and presented the most current technologies and modern materials, multimedia facilitation and interactive programs of the event industry for conducting, designing and advertising support of projects of various formats and difficulty levels.

Traditionally, the festival was accompanied by a topical and dense business program. Five conferences in the field of B2B marketing and advertising, sales, business development and management, design were held within the frames of the ProMediaTech business program.

More than 100 speakers, expert practitioners shared successful cases and gave current advice on the development and promotion of business in modern realities.

Programs PRO Marketing&Sales and PRODESIGN: Creative Approach to Marketing had been prepared in cooperation with the GBU Small Business of Moscow.

Marketers and practitioners shared with participants the secrets of creating a personal brand in business, non-standard promotion methods, key drivers of sales growth, talked about marketing without a budget and protection of trademarks at the PRO Marketing & Sales lectures. There were also topics about effective internet promotion, sales increase, the use of artificial intelligence in marketing and many others.

Speakers told how designers could attract customers, considered copyright in design and modern technology in visual communications, and also suggested how to receive regular income from creativity at PRODESIGN: Creative Approach to Marketing sessions.

The program PROEVENT&EXPO was prepared especially for the organizers of exhibitions and events. The attendees learned about the digitalization of the congress and exhibition industry, trendy innovations for stands decorating, a new format of marketing presentations and corporate integrations, as well as how to promote themselves in the event market to achieve the intended result and be effective.

Conference PRO B2B Marketing: Complete Trends’24 VIP version was held was held within the frames of the International festival of promotion and advertising technologies ProMediaTech. The conference became an exclusive live conversation, a discussion of the main drivers of business growth in 2024 with top B2B marketing experts. Leading speakers told how to find growth points, prepare the company for breaks in business and build a realistic but breakthrough digital strategy. They considered the main trends in messenger marketing and showed real funnels that leads bring.

The third Russian contest of young designers ProDesign.Junior became an interesting event for the attendees. More than 700 contestants from all regions of Russia participated in the contest.

The contest is held aiming to support and promote young specialists from 14 to 35 years old, popularize the profession of designer and architect, as well as to exchange experience with leaders of the creative industry.

The first day of ProMediaTech began with the IV All-Russian Conference of the Exhibition Build up Industry. Kai Hattendorf, Managing Director of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI), welcomed the participants of the conference within the frames of the session held by the Union of Exhibition Contractors SRO. Yevgeny Zasimov, Superjob business coach, highlighted the topic of finding and hiring personnel for the exhibition business industry: he spoke about the situation in the labor market and effective hiring tools, presented trends and a review of the salaries of applicants, and held a master class.

Expert discussion and wow-technologies battle Emotions Marketing. How do Emotions Help to Attract Clients? became the next significant event of the first day of the exhibition. The event had been organized by Evgenia Manukovskaya, founder of Expomap.ru, expert in launching and promoting hybrid and online events, author of the Expolead course. The event was held in the format of a battle of the emotion marketing products featuring interesting technologies that increase customer engagement, raise conversions and, at the end of the day, attract customers. Participants held short presentations with feedback from experts and a final audience vote for the best product. The experts were: Anna Nebaeva, Marketing director of Tinkoff Kassa; Nicholas Koro, Chief curator of the Research Center of Brandmanagement and Brand Technology RCB&B; Ekaterina Moskvina, Deputy General Director of BUSINESS DIALOGUE, public representative of the Russian Convention Bureau. According to the results of the vote, the VResorts project, which was presented by its founder Vladimir Varnavsky, was recognized as the most interesting.

Vladimir Dmitriyev, the TPP of the Russian Federation Vice President, noted during the interview that work with exhibitions, fairs and congress events for the Chamber of Commerce and Industry was one of the relevant areas of activity. The Chamber regularly held meetings on exhibition and congress activities, in which participated the interested players of the market. They were satisfied with the dynamics with which the industry had been developing in the country.

The anniversary tenth edition of the International festival of promotion and advertising technologies ProMediaTech, one of the most significant B2B event in Russia for specialists of the exhibition and event industry, retail segment, e-commerce, MICE and online/offline promotion was held January 17 and 18, 2018 in Crocus Expo.

In 2018 ProMediaTech was for the first time held under the patronage of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation. A round table and a number of closed meetings of heads of the member companies of the Exhibition Builders Union with representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation were held within the frames of the project. Anna Tarasiuk, Deputy Director of the Department of Exhibition and Congress Activity of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, spoke at the opening ceremony of the festival and hold several meetings with representatives of the Exhibition Builders Union. Strategic goals and challenges at the exhibition industry market for the coming year and development prospects of the industry as a whole were defined at the Exhibition Builders Union meeting.

Internet technologies have penetrated practically all spheres of human life and therefore the efficiency of business promotion directly depends on successful interaction with the Network audience: marketing technologies sensitively react to tendencies of the advertizing sphere. The ProMediaTech 2018 exposition reflected current tendencies in the branch. The project incorporated 4 specialized conferences:

ProMediaTech festival presented novelties and technologies of digital modernization in the field of marketing; robotics and its application in spheres of online and offline promotion; presentation of VR-/AR technologies; IT developments for a company management; examples and successful introductions of the technologies in the sphere of advertising; and offline and online sales.

The possibilities of further cooperation were discussed within the frames of the round table by top managers of organizations rendering support to ProMediaTech project: the National Association of Event Specialists (NAOM), the Association of Electronic Communications (RAEC), the Russian Association of Communications Agencies (AKAR), the Association of Complemented and Virtual Reality (ADVR), the National Association of Promotion Products Industry (NARSI), the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB), the Russian Association of Marketing Services (RAMS) and Exhibition Builders Union.

Closed pitch sessions were held by suppliers of materials and equipment for exposition building at exhibitions and other events. Participants of pitch sessions:
